FAQs - Diamonds
The weight of a diamond.

Carat is the unit of measurement used to determine a diamond's weight. A carat is equal to 200 milligrams.  A carat is also divided into 100 points. Half or 0.5 carat is equal to 50 points.

Carat is commonly thought of as the size of a diamond, since diamonds that are greater in weight are visibily larger. Larger diamonds are rare and have greater value per carat. Thus, the price of a diamond rises exponentially to its size.

A diamond can appear larger or smaller depending on the setting. Our consultants will recommend the right setting to optimise the beauty of your selected stone.
